We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage purchasing and global shipping activities within the maritime sector.
Responsibilities include processing purchase orders, sourcing marine equipment and spare parts, managing supplier relationships, negotiating prices, coordinating international deliveries and ensuring compliance with procurement and quality standards.
Requirements: 3–5 years’ technical purchasing experience within the maritime, shipping or offshore oil and gas sector. Knowledge of ship machinery and marine equipment is essential, along with strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Mariapps is desirable.
