Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Ship Manager to support their maritime operations!
Key responsibilities:
Support the Fleet Operations Manager in overseeing vessel performance, operational efficiency and maintaining vessels
Ensure compliance with the Company Safety and Environmental Policy in all assigned duties.
Assist in preparing dry dock specifications and project work scopes
Provide support to the Cyber Security Officer on cyber security-related tasks.
Contribute to the effectiveness of the Company’s Safety Management System (SMS) and management structure.
Handle procurement processes, including requisitions, quotes, and purchase orders
Manage and update the Marine Store Keeper System for all vessels, ensuring organised and efficient inventory management
What we are looking for:
Marine background with recent seagoing experience (preferably as a Deck Officer)
Strong understanding of marine safety regulations
Experience in Ro-Pax operations preferably in Northern Europe
A-II/2 or A-III/2 Certificates of Competency
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
